Sunflower Fun • Petrified Forest National Park, Arizona
One morning I roamed off the beaten track a bit and found this sandy mound where several sunflowers had made their home. Every once in a while the early morning air would stir and a couple blossoms would catch the breeze while others refused to move. I enjoy the interesting blend of motion and stillness and the random placement that still seems to balance, even with the sunflower to the far right leaning in and saying, "Hey, I want to be in the picture too."
